Accessibility Statement
This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This page describes what has been done, what is known to fall short, and how to tell me about a problem.
What has been done
Semantic HTML with landmark regions and a single logical heading order on every page. Every interactive element is reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
Text meets or exceeds AA contrast in both the light and dark themes. Text resizes to 200% without loss of content or function, and the layout reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide.
All decorative animation, including the background canvas and scroll-linked motion, is disabled when the operating system requests reduced motion. Nothing autoplays with sound, and nothing flashes.
Images carry meaningful alternative text, or are marked as decorative where that is what they are. Form fields have persistent visible labels and errors are announced.
Known limitations
The three-dimensional background on the home page is decorative and hidden from assistive technology. It is replaced with a static gradient when reduced motion is requested, and no information is conveyed by it alone.
Code blocks in articles scroll horizontally on narrow screens. They are keyboard-focusable so they can be scrolled without a mouse, but long lines remain harder to read on a small display.
Reporting a problem
If something here is difficult or impossible to use, please tell me at irfan@elyspace.com, including what you were trying to do and what assistive technology you were using, if any. I will fix it, and I will tell you when it is done.
